Interaction with the Platform#

Description#

The file data exchange protocol is designed using access synchronization to files between the transmitting and receiving sides.

As a result of processing, the source file is moved to a special directory, and a report file is created next to it.

The file is uploaded by any convenient method that provides sufficient security, for example, via FTPS or FTP through an ipsec tunnel.

Additionally, it is possible to enable the generation of files with messages delivery reports to subscribers.

Примечание

On the Platform, the calculating format of multi-segment messages length (messages consisting of several parts) in the direction «RF - Beeline» corresponds to the algorithm used by the operator «VimpelCom», namely: 67 characters per part of a concatenated message in Unicode (Cyrillic) and 152 characters in GSM DEFAULT encoding (Latin).

Operating Procedure#

The Service Provider configures for each Partner two directories on the file system of the Platform server:

  • for uploaded files;

  • for the archive of processed files and report files.

The Partner writes a file of the required format to the input directory (see General Requirements for Files).

The platform periodically scans the input directory for files with the “.data” extension, and processes them. The processed file is moved to the archive directory, where the report file “<processed file name>.report” is also created.

If the generation of a delivery report file is enabled, then one day after the mass messaging, the file “<name of the processed file>.delivery” is created in the archive directory, containing information on states of the messages delivery to subscribers.
